This installation was for a large secure military facility that needed a covered processing area in the open yard alongside their main building. The requirement was straightforward — a substantial enclosed space that could go up quickly without groundworks, without touching the existing structure, and without disrupting the site.
We used containers already on location as the structural base and spanned a large container canopy between them. Two cherry pickers on site handled the frame installation, tensioning the arched galvanised steel truss sections across the full span. The scale of the structure is clear even before the cover goes on — wide enough to take large vehicles and equipment with full clearance throughout. Once the frame was complete the green industrial PVC cover went on, closing off the structure with containers on each side and drive-through access at both ends. The whole sequence from bare frame to finished enclosed building took days.
The result is a large, weatherproof covered space with a completely clear span interior, secure container storage on each side, and no permanent change to the site. Fully relocatable if the requirement changes.
