Loadhog needed a large covered storage building on their logistics yard and needed it quickly. Stock was sitting exposed, trucks had no covered area to stage around, and a permanent build wasn't on the table. The site was live and the solution had to go up without getting in the way of daily operations.
We installed a 70x150ft freestanding storage tent across the yard, anchoring directly to the existing hardstanding with no groundworks or foundations. The arched galvanised steel frame went up section by section using cherry pickers, spanning the full width with no internal posts so the entire floor stays clear. Once the frame was complete the dark green industrial PVC cover went on — fully weathertight, fire retardant, and UV protected. The structure was enclosed and operational within days of starting.
The finished building gives full drive-through access at both ends and clear span space throughout for palletised goods, bulk materials, and vehicles. No footprint is wasted, no permanent change has been made to the site, and the whole structure can come down and move if the yard layout ever changes.
