What’s the difference between SkyShield™, Stormax™, AgriCover™, and Formex™?

SkyShield™ = container-mounted container canopies / container shelters for fast weather protection and loading cover. Stormax™ = industrial storage tents and fabric warehouses for bulk storage and yard operations. AgriCover™ = agricultural and field shelters for machinery, livestock and hay. Formex™ = bespoke engineered fabric & steel buildings built to your exact spec.

Do your container canopies and storage tents meet US wind/snow requirements?

Yes. We design to project location using relevant wind/snow data and engineering assumptions. For SkyShield™ and Stormax™, we provide load data and connection details; Formex™ can include sealed calcs if required by AHJ. Tell us your city/ZIP and target rating—we’ll align the spec.

How fast can you deliver and install?

Stocked SkyShield™ and popular Stormax™ sizes typically install in days once onsite. Formex™ bespoke lead times vary with design/fabrication (often 6–10 weeks). We can stage delivery around your program and site access windows.

What foundations do I need for container shelters or storage tents?

SkyShield™ typically uses two ISO shipping containers as supports (ballasted/anchored per site). Stormax™ can fix to concrete, ground anchors, or blocks. Formex™ will specify foundations/anchors during design. Send ground info and we’ll recommend the best fixing method.

Do I need a permit for a temporary industrial fabric building?

Many US jurisdictions treat these as temporary structures but may still require a permit, engineering letter, and site plan. We’ll support with drawings, load data, and documentation; your GC or AHJ confirms local requirements.

What fabric and steel do you use?

Heavy-duty PVC/PVDF fabric (UV-stable, fire-rated options) with galvanized steel frames. Covers can be single or double-truss depending on span and load. Formex™ offers custom steel specs, door kits, end walls, lighting, and accessories.

Can you customize sizes and clearances?

Absolutely. Stormax™ and SkyShield™ come in standard widths/lengths, but we can adjust spans, eave heights, and door openings. For non-standard footprints or challenging sites, choose Formex™ Bespoke.

Use SkyShield™ container canopies when you already have ISO containers on site and need rapid, rugged cover with minimal groundworks. Choose Stormax™ storage tents for larger clear spans, enclosed sides, or warehouse-style storage. If you need a tailored footprint or special load cases, go Formex™ Bespoke.

Do you supply agricultural covers and field shelters?

Yes—our AgriCover™ line includes machinery bays, hay & feed storage, and livestock shelters with vented fabric and corrosion-resistant frames. We size spans and eave heights around tractors, telehandlers, and cattle handling.
